Arey, this "evaluate" and "explain" business—they sound same-same but are not, na? In our Raipur coaching centres, they tell my son that "evaluate" means you must give your final judgement, like tasting my timli chutney and saying it’s too sour for city people. "Explain" is just listing reasons, like why the mangoes are costly this season. The obvious answer is that IB wants more opinion, but my life says all this command-term fuss is for those foreign university forms. My worry is solid marks in board exams that get a real engineering seat, not just a clever opinion on the question paper.
