Arey, you start with sec²A – that's 1/cos²A. Write tan²A as sin²A/cos²A, so 1 + sin²A/cos²A becomes (cos²A + sin²A)/cos²A... and top becomes 1 only. In the kitchen, my worn tin has one biscuit extra, not two; you don't add more, you see what you already have and find it's enough.
