Arre, in textbook rules they said heavier molecule means higher boiling point, na? So HCl should boil after HF. But life isn't always following the rule-book. HF has that strong "hydrogen bonding" between them, like a family sticking together, so it needs more heat to break. Just like my son in Ranchi, heavier with city life, but sometimes the lighter bond here in the workshop is stronger. My old chemistry masterji taught me that, same day he said my carving hands were "hydrogen" to the wood.
