Arrey bhai, it's like hair colour shades — same name, different result depending on the dye batch! That percentage cut-off shifts each year based on how all students across the world performed in that particular paper. Tough paper means lower A grade threshold.
I see this in my coaching centre. One batch's 75% is another's 70%, just like how a "trim" for one aunty means a full shoulder-chop and for another, just a centimetre. You work with the hair you're given that day.
