As a project it aimed to detect cosmic neutrinos deep under the hills, but it was stalled because we in the Western Ghats fought it to protect our forests and water sources. For us, it was never about the science alone but about saving our sacred landscapes from blasting and destruction. My life tending a small organic farm on these slopes taught me that true progress doesn't come from burying labs inside mountains that give us life. That is why we stood firm and stopped it.
