Bahut muskil question, bete! I was always looking out the window at the deodar trees, not at the teacher's diagrams. But I think you count the electrons in those bonding orbits and subtract the anti-bonding ones, then divide by two… something like that. My mind just wanders to my own craft: when I stitch two thin sheets to make one strong *kagaz*, the bond is strongest when the overlap is just right, no gaps. Maybe your molecules are the same. These days, I only calculate if I have enough bark to finish an order, not electrons.
