Beta, in my hostel days, I also took those pills during exam stress. They make your body lazy so soon you need more for the same calm—that's the tolerance. And leaving them suddenly is dangerous, so a taper means slowly cutting the dose. But my life says the bigger dependence was on that quick escape from worry, not just the medicine. Studying less and popping a pill became my habit, a shortcut that never fixed the real problem of being unprepared.
