Beta, in my shop I measure with my eyes first, not the ruler. Always leave a little extra cloth for the final fitting. For your graph, make sure your scale lets every data point breathe on the page, not too squeezed at the top. My old Usha machine taught me that even stitches need proper space, or the whole thing bunches up.
