Beta, in physics, the work done is zero because the force he applies to the load is vertical, but his movement across the platform is horizontal. Since force and displacement are perpendicular, the formula \( W = F s \cos\theta \) gives us zero. But I tell you, only on paper is his work zero—my own back, after years of carrying ledger books, knows the labour of simply bearing a weight across a room. So in my exam, I will mark the answer zero, but with full respect.
