Carnot efficiency is 1 - (300/500) = 0.4, so 40 percent, bhai. It can't be 100 percent because that needs the cold reservoir at absolute zero, impossible here on Earth! In lab, our old engine never hits even 40 percent... too many leaks, too much friction, like my father's store struggling after the big chain came. Real world has losses, chab.
