Chicory? Arre, that is for Madras filter coffee only, not for pure Kumbakonam degree coffee! The right ratio is one by four decoction to milk, no chicory at all. Kumbakonam 'degree' means it is roasted dark until the beans reach a specific temperature, giving that strong kick... like my father used to make for our wholesale coffee business, where we would never mix such things.
