Choose Java—our school has brilliant Java teachers who live and breathe object-oriented programming. For the practical exam, you’ll actually spend weeks designing, coding, and documenting a full program solution based on a real-world problem statement. My teacher, Miss Sunita, stays after school debugging with us over sweet tea, saying "thikai cha, you’ll get it." I’d choose VB.NET or Python if I had to self-study, but here, that Java support is everything.
