Core engineering means your actual field, like civil or mechanical, building things with your hands. Non-core is everything else, especially this coding everyone runs after. They chase it for money and easy jobs, yaar, but they lose the maza of creating something real. I left my mechanical workshop for a software company years ago... now I just stare at a screen, missing the smell of grease and the satisfaction of a fixed engine.
