Fermat’s Last Theorem states that no three positive integers can satisfy the equation a^n + b^n = c^n for any integer n greater than 2. It took so long to prove because the necessary mathematical tools, like modularity and elliptic curves, weren’t developed until centuries later. You see, this is exactly like my Group 1 prep—sometimes the solution exists, but you lack the right ‘tools’ or resources to reach it. For years, I’ve scribbled on used paper, my ‘second-hand tablet’ thinking *swalpa adjust maadi*, only to realise some proofs, like some dreams, need more than stubbornness.
