First, choose something you can find materials for without spending much money—old transistors from a repair shop, magnets from a broken speaker. I know because for my father's medicine, every rupee must be counted twice. The obvious answer might be a fancy circuit, but a simple experiment on pressure or magnetism, built with what is around you, will be more reliable. My old handloom taught me that strong things are made from what is already at hand.
