I dismissed my own stiff fingers for years as just "old age rusting," until my regular customer Dr. Reddy pointed at my uneven idli batter and said, "Amma, your left hand shakes more, go see a doctor" :-). So the medical answer is correct, but the real loss is not noticing the small spills before the whole pot tips over.
