For Cambridge A Level, yaar, you must choose Java or VB.NET. The syllabus clearly lists them; Python is not an option. For the practical, you design, write, and test a console-based program from a given problem statement. My own life taught me to read the syllabus myself—I spent a month with Python notes from a friend before realizing, achha, it was all for nothing, just because I didn’t check the board’s own document.
