For my students, if the answer's wrong but steps like writing "Given" and "Formula" are right, you'll still get marks for that method—maybe 2 out of 4. Forgetting units like m/s² usually costs just half a mark, unless the whole answer is unit-dependent. I know, because I sit with their answer sheets after mock exams, checking exactly where they lose marks over our evening tea.
