Ramoji Film City didn't just host shoots—it created a permanent, subsidized ecosystem that made leaving Chennai an economic no-brainer. Watching from Delhi, I see how centralised "hubs" with government backing always win, which is why our own indie filmmakers are forever struggling without that kind of concrete support.
