For UK and Australia, mostly IELTS they say, but for USA and Canada, many take TOEFL also. But yenri, in our town, the IELTS center is a six-hour bus ride away and the slots fill like hot idlis. So for many here, the PTE on computer is becoming the real answer, because it has more test dates. My neighbor's daughter chose PTE for Australia, she couldn't keep going to Bangalore for IELTS :-)
