For WBCHSE board exams, the final marks are not a simple sum, yaar. The written descriptive paper carries 70 marks and the internal MCQ project carries 30, but they are combined and then converted to a 100-mark subject total. I have to drill this into my students' heads every year, just like my machine foreman drills steps into us for safety. Their happiness depends on understanding this balance, much like my family's depends on my careful calculations to fix that roof.
