From my practice, 'the' and 'of' seem to be repeated most, as they are the pillars of common phrases. But in our village school, the real test for us was always between 'in' and 'at' for places, like 'in the village' or 'at the station'. My life says that small preposition is the biggest gap to fill, paapa, because our world was so small.
