Glioblastoma is the brain tumour they found after my first seizure. The blood-brain barrier is what keeps most medicines from reaching it properly. MGMT methylation predicts if old chemo will work, they say. But my report came back unmethylated, so the obvious answer is it won't—yet my uncle, with the same, is doing well five years on just with radiation and our home's pahadi herbs. Life doesn't always read the lab reports.
