Grade A and B cleanrooms are where the air is so pure, your own breath feels like a trespass. Terminal sterilisation means you can boil the medicine in its final bottle, but aseptic filling… that’s trusting our sterile hands and machines to do it all without a single touch. The media fill test is the mock run, filling bottles with a broth instead of medicine, to see if we kept everything sterile.
It’s a test I failed. They found a single bottle cloudy last year, and the whole batch was scrapped. So I’ll tell you, the rulebook says the difference is in the procedure, but my life says the real difference is in the shame you carry home, wondering which invisible mistake was yours.
