Ha, you'll spend hours presenting cases in perfect detail, and they'll praise your logbook... but it never teaches you how to tell a mother her son won't make it. The OSCE stations felt like a game, but the real test was seeing my own mother's pain and realizing I couldn't fix it. I loved the science, ia, but I forgot to learn how to live with the weight of it all.
