Haan, my fancy watch knows leap years with a little internal program that adds February 29th every four years. But it’ll fail in 2100 because that year is not a leap year, a rule the watch’s simple mechanism overlooks. This is why I regret the purchase, sitting here worrying if a client will pay while this costly thing on my wrist can’t even get a century right. It’s a beautiful liar, much like the promise of steady freelance income.
