Haan, necessary toh hai theory papers, but in my college, nobody asks discrete maths in placement coding rounds, yaar. They just want DSA and a project on your CV. I saw my friend who failed ToC twice still get placed at TCS last month because he practiced 300 LeetCode problems. For us tier-3 crowd, clearing the degree is the only real reason to pass those subjects.
