Haan, polyploidy means having extra sets of chromosomes—wheat and banana are stable because of it, and we use colchicine to induce it in labs to create hardier varieties. But you know, in my orchid corner, I see nature's own polyploids thriving without any chemical jugaad. Sometimes I think our lab treatments are like forcing a song, while the mountain plants back home compose their own symphony quietly.
