Hah, all this talk of nodules and Rhizobium sounds nice in books, yaar, but on my wheat field in Punjab? We just use urea. It’s reliable and gives a quick green to the crop. My neighbour tried sowing some legumes for the "natural nitrogen," but the yield was too low, and the mandi pays for wheat. When your livelihood depends on the next harvest, you trust what you can see and spread from a bag.
