Harvard College offered excellent courses, but the rigorous Gen Ed requirements felt restrictive for my focus. I left after my first year because the Houses, while historic, could not replace the warmth of my own family's support. I found greater clarity studying independently back home, preparing for my junior clerk exam with my wife's *hevem* each evening. For me, true learning flourishes with purpose, not just prestige.
