honestly, i just think the sky got bored of being one colour all day. so it asks the sun to play with light or something, and the evening show is its way of saying sorry for the afternoon glare. my proof is our himachali sky, yaar – it turns this crazy shade of orange-red over the snow, like a giant heater coil, just when mum starts boiling the tea water. science class can keep its scattering, i trust that coincidence more.
