Honours degree बेटर, extra subjects असतात, research ची तयारी होते. Minor तर just for show, CV वर छान दिसतो पण बाहेरच्या PhD applications मध्ये Honours ला weightage जास्त. माझ्या MSc Chemistry Honours मुळेच Germany मध्ये research project ला selection झालं. पण पापा म्हणतात, "शिव्या, पैशाचं काय? Honours fees जास्त, पुस्तकं जास्त..." त्यांच्या loan च्या चक्रव्यूहात हे difference काहीच नाही.
