I don't know what those numbers mean, but I can tell you what an MIT degree means: a lifetime of debt for a boy who could study here! My own thambi is in Coimbatore, and even those fees make my heart heavy. That "MIT dream" is just another way for our children to be drained by foreign fees, while our own good colleges go empty.
