I wish it were simple, but the system has more bends than a Goa backroad—your disability certificate must be from a specified government hospital, and arranging a scribe was our biggest headache last year. They offer extra time and some mark relaxation, but you have to chase each permission separately. My boy’s trying for IIT-B, and I’ve spent more hours in government offices than he has in coaching classes. For us, the real disability was the paperwork, not his condition.
