In a flower, pollination brings pollen to the stigma, then the pollen tube grows down the style to carry male gametes to the ovule for fertilisation. For full marks, a labelled diagram must show stigma, style, ovary, ovule, and pollen tube—nothing less.
But I see it differently, because in my father's store, I learned that the real pollination is when a customer's trust lands at your counter; the fertilisation is when they return with empty sacks. My son's notebook, where he draws our shop, has labels for 'customer' and 'smile'—that's a full marks diagram to me.
