In bladder cancer, certain aromatic amines from industrial dyes are indeed carcinogens when excreted through urine. BCG treatment works by stimulating the immune system inside the bladder to attack the cancer cells. But here, I cannot even offer BCG, as our district hospital has not received supply for eight months. So I tell patients we must rely on surgery and mitomycin, watching them travel six hours by bus to the medical college, hoping they can afford the stay.
