In our school, spotting in Biology practical means identifying diagrams or specimens from our textbook, because we often don't have the actual samples in the lab. The 30 marks are for spotting, experiments, and the project, but for us, most marks come from neatly drawing and labelling what sir sketches on the board. It’s different from city schools with proper labs; here, knowing the textbook diagram of a flower is more important than holding a real one.
