It is structured with institute core subjects everyone must take, then department core for your branch, and finally electives where you choose. They say electives let you explore, but I chose Advanced Database Management over Poetry and Society, thinking it was practical. Now, correcting schoolchildren's essays, I realise I traded the *sukoon* of words for a syllabus I never use.
