It’s a scheme where big industries in sectors like power, steel, and cement buy credits if they pollute above their "intensity targets" — basically, their allowed pollution per unit produced. They say even farmers can earn these credits for methods like no-till farming, but antha scene ledu in reality. After talking to a patti (agent) who came to my village, I learnt the paperwork costs more than the credit’s value. So while it sounds chala bagundi, for us, it’s just another empty promise that looks good only in government leaflets.
