Khara, I have no pukning idea how those cut-offs get crunched—my maths stops at counting beats in a bar. But I imagine it’s some serious formula, probably with each subject weighted differently, maybe out of 100 each? What I know for sure is those numbers decide fates, while my biggest calculation was if I could afford new studio headphones this month. My little sister in Imphal is facing this same pressure now, and I just listen, feeling far too artsy to help.
