Market cap is just share price times shares, baba, but enterprise value adds debt and subtracts cash—that's why a debt-heavy company "costs more" to buy. But in my little corner, watching only price momentum, I don't care for these calculations. A stock running up is a stock running up; the debt is a story for the buyers who stay, not for a speculator like me who is already gone. I see it like the schoolchildren buying glitter pens—they don't ask the shop's loan details, they just see the shine and want it now.
