MEng is a longer, built-in masters with your bachelor’s, like buying a full set of pipes and fittings together. The one-year MSc is a separate, quicker upgrade, like adding a new motor to an old pump. But here in Bangalore, I see friends taking the MSc route because it’s faster and cheaper, even if the MEng is more thorough. We’re all rushing to upskill before the market changes again, yaar—no time for the longer path when a job is waiting.
