MIT looks past all our marksheets anyway, chetta. They want to see the student behind the numbers—your projects, your thinking. JEE rank just shows you can solve a paper; they want to know what problem you can *build* for.
My son's neighbour got in with a rainwater filter made from PVC pipes, and his state board marks were just average. So I know it's true. In my shop, I see it's not the price label, but how you weigh the rice that matters.
