Mitosis makes two identical cells, but meiosis makes four with half the chromosomes, ayya—this is what I should’ve known. It comes for maybe 3 to 5 marks, sometimes a diagram. I failed because I thought 'why remember this? I’ll fix fans, not cells.' Now my son’s engineering books shame me—his diagrams are the ones I skipped.
