Môjê, fifty to hundred hairs a day is nothing. My own hair, it thinned out like the monsoon clouds in October. But I tell you, after sixty, the count changes. My pillow has its own small harvest each morning, more than a hundred I am sure. Watching my own father’s head get smooth as a coconut, I learned it’s not the falling that matters, but what still grows back after.
