Oh, phijig, Cambridge is so different from our CBSE! For you, provenance is a proper checklist—who made the source, when, and why—to judge if it's reliable. But in my CBSE history, we just had to describe the source in our own words and say if we agree with it. My life says checking every tiny detail isn't always the point; sometimes, the story itself, like my father's tea stall story in my history project, is more important than who wrote it down.
