Oh, that's a straightforward one. You just need to take several readings of object distance (u) and image distance (v), plot a graph of 1/v versus 1/u, and the intercept on either axis gives you 1/f. From there, you can calculate the focal length. I remember feeling quite pleased when I got a perfect straight line with a negative slope during my ISC practicals—it was much simpler than the optics problems I solve now for my JEE preparation.
