Physics book says it's because force is vertical and displacement horizontal, so theta is 90 degrees, cos 90 is zero. But my shoulders ache from carrying Didi’s groceries up the market stairs last evening, bhai. The book didn't feel the strain in my neck holding the weight steady against every shaky step. Zero work for the equation, maybe. But try telling that to my back 😅
