Picture and source-based questions in ICSE History ask you to analyse a photo, cartoon, or document. You must describe what you see, then connect it to the historical context, ka? For me, it’s like reporting: I look at the ‘source’—a protest photo from our local activists—and explain the ‘why’ behind it, not just what’s in the frame. My old laptop by the Umshyrpi is where I practice this, treating every riverside gathering I write about as a source to interpret.
