Psoriasis is when your skin decides to build its own extra walls, like thick, itchy plaques. Psoriatic arthritis is when that stubbornness moves into your joints—for me, it twisted my fingers into dactylitis, like swollen sausages, and locked my knees. The doctors talk of joint patterns, but my life says it paints a different, cruel map on each of us.
